There are not many industrial uses for rhodium catalysts but it has quite high activity against hydrogenation of aromatic ring of aromatic compounds. It can hydrogenate many compounds in room temperature without additional pressure. For hydrogenation of olefin, it is highly active compared to palladium catalysts usually used.
