Today, preservation of the global environment and energy conservation call for urgent attention. Commercially viable fuel cell technology is a promising solution to these challenges. N.E. CHEMCAT is actively engaged development of fuel processing catalysts and electro-catalysts for fuel cells. With our accumulated catalyst technology, we strive for development of new technologies to contribute to practical realization of fuel cell technology.

Electro Catalysts

N.E. CHEMCAT develops Electro catalysts for PEFC applications. Our precious metal catalyst technologies build upon our expertise in chemical and automobile catalysts.

We can provide highly active carbon supported Pt catalysts and alloy catalysts.

Hydrogen Producing Catalysts

N.E. CHEMCAT is developing catalysts which can be used, even in extreme conditions, for the entire production process of hydrogen gas for fuel cells from various materials from desulfurization to preferential oxidation of CO. Our development efforts are focused on durable precious metal catalysts. We make both granular and monolith catalysts.

DESULFURIZATION AGENTS

We supply desulfurization agents used to remove organic and inorganic sulfur compounds existing in natural gas and LPG at room temperature to the ppb level.

REFORMING CATALYSTS

We supply catalyst for both steam reforming reactions as well as auto-thermal reactions. Metal monolith catalyst has excellent thermal conductivity. Catalysts with durability against sulfur are also available.

SHIFT CATALYSTS

We supply precious metal catalyst with durability against oxidation and steam which is not available with copper catalyst used conventionally for low temperature shift reactions.

CO PREFERENTIAL OXIDATION CATALYSTS

We provide solutions addressing our customers' specific conditions in order to achieve CO levels of 10ppm or below which is required for PEFC fuel cells.
