N.E. CHEMCAT is developing catalysts which can be used, even in extreme conditions, for the entire production process of hydrogen gas for fuel cells from various materials from desulfurization to preferential oxidation of CO. Our development efforts are focused on durable precious metal catalysts. We make both granular and monolith catalysts.
We supply desulfurization agents used to remove organic
and inorganic sulfur compounds existing in natural gas and LPG at room temperature
to the ppb level.
We supply catalyst for both
steam reforming reactions as well as auto-thermal reactions. Metal monolith catalyst
has excellent thermal conductivity. Catalysts with durability against sulfur are
also available.
We supply precious metal catalyst with durability against
oxidation and steam which is not available with copper catalyst used conventionally
for low temperature shift reactions.
We provide solutions addressing
our customers' specific conditions in order to achieve CO levels of 10ppm or below
which is required for PEFC fuel cells.
