Energy saving and prevention of environmental pollution, especially removal of VOC (volatile organic compounds) have become a substantial social responsibility. Hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide from industrial emission gases are a major cause of air pollution. DASH catalyst fully oxidizes and decomposes these contaminants at low temperatures, and recovers and makes effective use of heat energy generated in the process of gas disposal. DASH catalyst is useful for the prevention of air and odor pollution, removal of VOC, energy saving and heat recovery.
Features of Our Environmental Catalysts
Our environmental catalysts are;
1. effective against a variety malodorous substances.
The active surface areas necessary for oxidative decomposition reaction are large so they can effectively treat massive quantities of gas in even relatively small amounts. Geometric surface areas of honeycomb catalysts are large so that they can effectively remove odors twice as effectively as sphere types.
2. Energy-savings
Gas temperature is normally from 150 deg C to 350 deg C at the time of processing of odor removal. Therefore, their fuel costs are half of those necessary for a direct combustion system. If the gas is concentrated, our environmental catalyst produces self-sustained combustion.
3. Stable Effectiveness and Long Life
There are many examples in which DASH catalysts have been used for more than ten years. DASH catalysts have superior heat resistance and mechanical strength.They are also free of effects of lower content hydrogen sulfide and halogen compounds.
4. Secondly pollution at the time of catalyst combustion
Our environmental catalysts do not produce thermal Nox for oxidation removal. In addition, they do not need waste water treatment because they are gas phase reaction.
